PIM Savvy VITA Volunteers

PIM Savvy started our first VITA site in Renton, WA during the 2023 tax season with a small but mighty team of 14 volunteers. We successfully completed 188 tax returns resulting in over $300,300 in tax refunds. Every tax season thereafter, we have admirably grown our VITA program to include more volunteers and more VITA sites. In 2024, we operated two VITA sites with a team of 35 volunteers and successfully completed 641 tax returns resulting in over $864,170 in tax refunds. During the 2025 tax season, we operated four VITA sites with a team of 40 VITA Volunteers. (We will calculate the total number of completed tax returns and total value of tax refunds for 2025 at the end of the year.) We can’t wait to see what we will accomplish next tax season.

Together, we have served thousands of taxpayers with free tax preparation services and helped them claim millions of dollars and save hard-earned money by avoiding tax prep fees.

Our PIM Savvy VITA program would not be possible without our amazing and selfless volunteers. We know our VITA volunteers are the heart of this program.
