WHY – Why do I need a SAW account to apply for the Working Families Tax Credit?

  • To apply for the Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) in My DOR you need a SecureAccess Washington (SAW) account. SecureAccess Washington is a single sign-on account to access over 300 Washington state services.
    • It provides login security, such as multi-factor authentication (sends a code to your cell phone or email) and allows people to access multiple accounts to access state services.
    • You can log into My DOR to send the Washington State Department of Revenue a secure message any time. If you have questions about this, contact the Working Families Tax Credit Customer Service at 360-763-7300, TTY dial 711. Interpreters are available.
  • Create a SAW account or log in at SecureAccess Washington
