HOW – How much will I get back?

  • The Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) amount is dependent on the income level and number of qualifying children an applicant can claim. The maximum number of children that an applicant can claim is three. The minimum credit for eligible applicants is $50, regardless of the number of qualifying children. The maximum amount is $1,255 for tax year 2023 for individuals and families who meet the requirements. The actual amount received varies depending on income and qualifying children. Not all applicants will qualify.
  • Check out this WFTC flyer to see who is eligible for this tax refund from Washington State, and to see how much individuals and families are eligible for.
