PIM Savvy VITA now offers Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) services to individuals and families in Washington State! We partnered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) so we can assist alien individuals and other foreign persons obtain Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN).
The reason we became CAAs is because we recognize the unique needs of resilient populations. We understand the difficulties and hardships these populations go through every day and strive to ease these burdens. This is why PIM Savvy VITA is proud to offer free ITIN application and renewal services to those who qualify in addition to FREE tax preparation services.
Our CAAs will be able to review and determine if the required taxpayer documentation meets the IRS criteria for identification and foreign status in order to obtain an ITIN. Those who use our services will NOT have to mail proof of identity and foreign status documents to the IRS.
